“America, you have been paralyzed by your own preoccupations! Repent of your sluggishness, turn from your idols, rise and walk! Foolishness has no gain! Frivolity is futile! Fiendishness is an aberration of My will! Turn from your idols, idols of materialism, greed and empty ways that do not profit and I will restore you! Drop all your weights, check in your baggage and be freed from your bondages; the bondages of Egypt! (idolatry, wastefulness, thanklessness, covetousness and selfishness)
Have I not called you? Have I not atoned for your sins? Have I not turned your head to see, yet, you have stopped your ears and covered your eyes! Now is the time of your visitation! Can you not see it? Where are My vigilant watchmen? Where are the ones that I have called by name? Where are My laborers in the vineyard? Hear now, America! Rise up and walk! Take up your bed of affliction and follow Me! Pray that I will be lenient and have mercy upon you,” says the Lord! Like the diseased man in John 5, America has been spiritually paralyzed! What better time than now is there to put your hope in the Living God, who, Alone, can heal our disease? Won’t you commit your ways to the Lord, today? (Psalm 37: 5, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”) Dear Heavenly Father, we know that we don’t deserve Your mercy, yet we know that Your mercies are new every morning! Lord, weigh heavily upon the people of this nation, that they may heed Your word and return to You! Or an even worse thing than this will come to pass! Help us to flee from our idols and run to You, in th e Name of Messiah, Lord, Jesus, Amen! Applicable verses: John 5: 1-9, Hosea 5: 15, 6: 1, 6, Psalm 37: 5. Hosea 5: 15, “I will return again to My place till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.” Hosea 6: 1, “Come, and let us return to the Lord; for He has torn, but He will heal us: He has stricken, but He will bind us up.” Hosea 6: 6, “For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”
