If Mitt Romney Is a Mormon, Does This Make Him a Christian?
Contributor/Author:Tricia Erickson, author "Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?" http://triciaerickson.tumblr.com/
Our next President could be a temple recommend card carrying Mormon. With Rick Perry entering the race and Michelle Bachman still a contender, plus the additional Christian candidates who could still nudge in to the winner’s circle, which candidate will the Christian vote go to? Considering the outlandish doctrines of the Mormon Church, will Christians be fooled by the recent Mormon portrayal that they, too, are Christians?
In recent years, the Mormon Church PR machine has worked very hard to present their religion as “just another Christian religion”. There‘s nothing more to see here, move along.
With the long awaited and strategically planned goal to place a Mormon into the Office Of The Presidency of the United States Of America, the Mormon prophets, apostles and leaders of the church have strategically postured themselves as “Christians”, counting on the basis that our fast and furious generation will go with their flow not to question the rewritten history that disputes their latest counterfeit claim. And why is it important for Americans to believe that Mitt Romney is just another Christian? Because if we succumb to this stratagem, the Mormon Church will finally be perceived as mainstream. If the religion is finally perceived as mainstream, then what could possibly be wrong with electing a Mormon President?
Please allow me to take you through a bit of Mormon history.
The false prophet, Joseph Smith, and founder of the Mormon Church claimed to have a vision in which God and His Son Jesus Christ revealed to him that all churches, including Christian Church’s and their creeds, were an abomination. I have provided just two of many examples of proof here. If you look it up, the evidence is readily available and in abundance:
It is important to note that in Christianity, the most basic tenant, The Trinity, defines The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit as one God. By contrast, Mormons believe
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are three separate and distinct personages as plural gods. Mormons further believe that innumerable Mormon gods exist in “yonder heavens” and possess their own kingdoms in which to bring their wife, or wives, into, in order to procreate and populate with spirit children. They further believe that the God of this earth also has a wife with whom he procreates spirit children (us), who come to earth to gain mortal bodies in order to start our own eternal progression to godhood, receiving our own planets, as he has.
Folks, I’m not making this up!
Please believe me when I tell you that Mitt Romney, and all Mormons, truly and unequivocally believes that he, too, will become a literal god and be given his own kingdom. He may call his wife, Ann, into his kingdom by her secret name that only he knows, given to him in the secret Mormon Temple endowment ceremonies. If he calls her in to his kingdom, they too will create spirit babies who will follow the Mormon doctrine of progression to their own exaltation to godhood. It is also important to note that if Mitt does not call Ann into his kingdom, she will be left in a lower Mormon “degree of glory”, which places him in charge of her Mormon salvation to goddesshood.
I have just given you a few of the countless and outrageous examples of Mormon doctrine that fly in the face of blasphemy to the living God, and are completely contrary to Christian doctrine.
Accordingly, on the campaign trail, when you consider the purposed posturing that Mitt Romney and John Huntsman are Christians “just like you”, remember the biblical term that teaches us to be wise as serpents. God did not call us to be naïve and deceived.
I’m going to stick my neck out here (in jest) and say that I very much doubt that Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum or Ron Paul believe they will become actual gods. And I’m pretty certain that based on Mitt Romney being a candidate with a literal god complex, neither he, John Huntsman, nor any member of the Mormon Church can be defined as “Christian”.

Tricia is also a political consultant andon-air contributor. She has opined on many local and national news and entertainment TV and radio shows/networks. She is also the author of the new book “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus The Office Of The Presidency of the United States of America.”
Tricia purposely became less active on-the-air in recent years and has not necessarily sought to participate in on-air interviews. However, because of the concern in her heart that for the first time in history, a prominent Mormon could achieve the Office Of The Presidency, she feels a responsibility to educate the public, both in the US and abroad, regarding what this potential Mormon President could truly mean for America. She is an expert on the well-masked cult of Mormonism and a former Mormon Bishop’s daughter who left the church in her early 20’s.
From a political stand point, she believes it is imperative to reveal the facts on Romney’s political record, in opposition to what the Romney camp will shift the voters to believe in order to achieve the Presidency.
We have by now experienced with the current President Obamawhat smooth words and entertainment imagery, as opposed to substance, can bring to the highest office in the land. Will we make the same mistake again?
Side note: Some of the issues Tricia has been called to speak to in the past are the dangers of Radical Islam, Barack Obama,Mitt Romney, Mormonism, all things political, the imaging-posturing-positioning of Presidential Candidates, the culture wars and more.
