The mad rush to set in place powerful global entities to control the world's wealth has begun. The will to radically alter our way of life as we know it has begun in the form of the North American Union, the European Union (a collection of 25 countries operating under the same policies and currency) which is trying to revive its failed constitution, and the United Nations which seeks to tax Americans.

Then there are the pursuits of Former President Bill Clinton. Lately he seeks to fix the world's problems though a select group of the powerful as they commit to and fund projects around the world through the Clinton Global Initiative.

There is nothing wrong with reaching out to help the world's destitute and giving of yourself. Just not with such an outward showing as Clinton has done. The Clinton Global Initiative gives me the impression that Clinton is still seeking the limelight. He thinks that money will solve every global problem, and is urging the rich and powerful to make monetary commitments to fight disease, poverty, and other nagging issues.

There is one issue that must be confronted before any positive change can happen in downtrodden countries. The HUGE problem of corrupted governments.

Pressure should be exerted on governments and leaders who oppress their people to clean up their act and allow their people to flourish or express themselves as free Western societies do. That's when many of the problems, such as poverty, will be eliminated. President Clinton is avoiding that crucial move.

If we confront and do something about the brutal dictators who are oppressing their people, half the battle is won. So far, I feel that Clinton's organization is a massive show of the powerful which is yielding no real results.

--Asking more from us

With all the money that's been raised in the past for causes like hunger, SURELY that scourge would have taken a harsh beating by now. But assuredly as the sun rises, people are still dying left and right of starvation and hunger. Celebrities continue to ask the rest of us for money to tackle the issue. But no huge waves to combat the hunger problem are being made.

People will give to causes when they know something will get done. However, we often fall into the trap of becoming emotional and allow our big hearts to pull out the wallet and hand over cash without thinking of where it will go, and how it will be spent.

For example, after the 2004 tsunami, Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush appealed to the American people to continue making monetary donations toward relief of Bande Acheh, Indonesia and surrounding areas. Not only did Americans give close to an overwhelming $1 billion dollars from private individuals, an additional $950 million American dollars was requested by the US government! Many other countries gave millions as well.

With all the millions given into the tsunami recovery effort, surely areas affected by the tsunami could be enjoying prosperity right now. Some of the money IS being used for rebuilding, but some of it has also fallen into the wrong hands. Like the hands of terrorists!

The world was generous to help those in need, and responded with open hearts to the immense suffering, and their generosity has been tainted as the money is siphoned by terror groups who pose as charities themselves (see article below).

Am I saying not to respond to tragedies and help whenever needed? No. But when giving of your hard earned dollars, make sure you know where your money is going. We have yet to know exactly where all of the money is going from the tsunami aid. There has been slow progress in that region. It makes one wonder.

--Nightmarish merger into a Super State

Lastly, we come to the issue that's gaining more and more momentum as time goes by. Many Americans are clueless to it, but if not stopped, we will face a rude awakening soon. I'm talking about the North American Union...the effort to merge Canada, the US, and Mexico.

So much information has come out about this subject that I can barely keep up. But I will say one thing, the agenda needs to be exposed, American citizens need to cry out in defense of their country.

The issue is getting more attention in the House in that Rep. Virgil Goode Jr. (R-VA), has come forward with a bill (H.R. 487) that would oppose the North American Union and would thwart the building of a North American Superhighway.

Author Jerome Corsi, who has been persistent in keeping the North American Union issue to the forefront, said, "Now that Congress is preparing to take up the issues of the North American Union and NAFTA superhighways, we are moving out of the realm where critics can attempt to disparage the discussion as 'Internet conspiracy theory.'"

This is CERTAINLY a change in the right direction. It's an issue that CANNOT be ignored any longer.

More startling action to unite Canada, the US, and Mexico comes as students from 10 universities across Canada, the US, and Mexico descended on the Mexican Senate earlier this year for their "Triumvirate" event, or mock Parliament.

Topics of discussion included:

--The all important issue of immigration

--NAFTA provisions

--"draft bills on trade corridors"

A statement from attendee Robert A. Pastor, vice chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations, said this:

"What we need to do is forge a new North American Community. ... Instead of stopping North Americans on the borders, we ought to provide them with a secure, biometric border pass that would ease transit across the border like an E-Z pass permits our cars to speed through tolls."

Robert A. Pastor is also a professor at American University, (and director of the Center for North American Studies there) one of the universities that were present.

Folks, at the root of all this is the love of money and power. Lusting for money and power breeds corruption. This latest North American Union arm twisting and propaganda on the next generation aims to create future leaders who will advocate merging sovereign nations into one big similar community. Say goodbye to the right of sovereign nations to govern themselves!

Whether it's the UN, EU, or a stealth powerful elite group bent on global control, the extremist goals of certain rich and powerful people will do what they can to push forward their agenda, and once implemented, would want to make sure they keep it that way. If they don't seize power by taxing us to death for the greater good, then they are trying to do it by consolidating governments and countries, eroding the individuality and sovereignty of these nations.

The powerful elite want to make the rest of us their serfs. But there are some bold Americans who will call out this farce before it's too late to act. We can't let it get to the point of no return when nothing can be done.

Please let your Representative in the House know that you wholeheartedly support H.R. 487 which opposes a North American Union. Let him/her know we must keep our nation sovereign, and ask them to fully back this bill and demand more answers of the Bush Administration.

Let's step up in the defense of our country before our country gets permanently stamped out!
