By Nina May, rwnetwork.net, townhall.com Thirty years ago when Chrysler received a bailout from the U.S. government, I was pretty young, but old enough to declare I would never buy a Chrysler. And I never have, and probably never will for a lot of reasons. First of all, as a strong supporter of the free market system and open competition among entrepreneurs, I am dead set against the government having anything to do with a natural process that survives or dies on the excellence or failures of a product or service. The Chrysler bailout for me was a red flag that the Chrysler product was flawed, they had failed to compete with intelligent decisions and designs, and blindly ignored the handwriting on the wall that smaller, more fuel efficient cars were the future.

I am prompted to write this article based on what just happened. I've been watching TV lately and have seen how many Americans have been diagnosed withmany diseases and are dying of various cancers. I began taking notes in anticipation of doing another articleto tell people about the benefits of doing a cleanse. I then logged online and was shocked to findthat a fellow writer of mine hasbeen diagnosed with cancer! He has been faithfully taking care of his wife as she battled Alzheimer'sdiseaseand now, he's sick. SoI know this isn't a coincidence that I had the intention of writing an article on cleansing the body.I am getting tired of hearing that Americans across this land are sick. The answer is not to load your body with pharmaceutical drugs of all kinds either. There are too many people who are suffering anddying needlessly in America because they feel there is simply only one way toattack a health problem. It's time to take control of your health America. Now, before I go on, I want to say that there is no guarantee that a cleanse will cure any disease, but it will certainly help your body overall....

The U.S. Navy's flight exhibition squadron, theBlue Angels, is a rare treat to behold. They are a fine example of the precision, discipline, and sheer guts exhibited by our military.Spectators are able to see the fine skills of the BlueAngels when they fly in to cities and towns across America andin some parts of the world to do air shows. Growing up in themilitary as a Navy brat, I attended many air shows where the Blue Angels performed. They are inspiring! The Blue Angels are representative of the U.S. Navy, but they are a HUGE credit to our military as a whole. They are the best exhibition team in the world...who else could fly36 inches apartwingtip to wingtip? They exhibit VERY impressive and outrageous (in a good sense) flying skills.I had the pleasure of talking with one of the pilots who flies with the Blue Angels, LCDR Tom Winkler, USNat a recent air show in my area. LCDR Winkler was down to earth and very eager to discuss with me the background on the Blue Angels and their experiences. The home base of the Blue Angels is NASPensacola, FL at Forrest Sherman field most of the year, but when in training,...

Complete disappointment, revulsion, and disbeliefwere theinstant feelings that ran through measI watched news of a story about a college student at the University of Florida being tased by police officers for only going over his allottedtime inasking a question during a politicalforum. Twenty-one year old Andrew Meyer prodded the speaker,Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) withsome questions... oneon the 2004 election, why did he concede. Another question waswhetherMr. Kerry and President Bush were members of the Skull and Bones secret society. When Andrew Meyer continued after his time ran out, growing impatient and a bit rowdy, police eventually subdued him. As Meyer, already cuffed, begged the officers restraining him not to usea taser...what happens? They proceed to do just that. It was hard to watch. Yet as I sat and watched, there seemed to be 2 other officers looking on as the young man was tased. John Kerry issued a statement saying, "I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption..."and he was prepared to answer Mr. Meyer's question. This is disturbing! There was no reason forMeyer...

I find myself looking at many of the products I buy to see where they were made. It's hard to find goods that are Made in America. But now, more than ever, it's imperative that we start buying goods that we KNOW will exemplify quality. Goods that are made RIGHT HERE in the good 'ol U.S. of A. It's one way to show support of our nation.Where once we dominated inmanufacturing goods of all kinds, other countries have stepped in and produced only sub par quality products. Tainted products are coming out of China, and considering the major recalls by Mattel and the fact that dangerous toothpaste and pet food has made its way to America's shores from China, it's time to get a grip and take a close look at our shopping habits. Why would companies want totake away American jobs and ship them to China and elsewhere? Is there no pride left in the American worker...no pride in America's ability to churn out quality every time?Sadly, it's all for the money of course. Companies will save a pretty penny if they employed cheap labor. But at the cost of what? We have to look at our trade practices as well. Americans are put at risk over tainted seafood...

Hollywood continues in its attempt to shove untruths down our throats. But it all depends on whether or not the American public ingests the lies or not. James Cameron, director of the famed Titanic film has joined the list of those who continue in their pursuit to disprove the deity of Jesus Christ. In his documentary to air on the Discovery Channel March 4th, (called The Lost Tomb of Jesus) Cameron claims that he has found the place where Jesus was buried, that he has found the coffins of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and son Judah. Christians FIRMLY believe that Jesus was entombed, but wrapped in a burial cloth and not enclosed in some coffin! Christians believe Christ rose from the dead, and now sits at the right hand side of The Father. Jesus is God's Son. I haven't heard of such disrespect of the Christian faith since Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code made it's debut, and what is even more disgusting is that both Cameron and Howard make mention that Jesus was married and had a son. The Da Vinci Code film was more of a fictional conspiracy- type film, where viewers were not to think that any of the film's messages were true. However, it could have easily planted a seed in a person's...

Today we're hearing a lot about Spiritism or Spiritualism, not to be confused with spiritual or spirituality, as in “I'm not religious, I'm spiritual,” or “I'm into spirituality.” The term Spiritism has replaced what was once called animism and other religious practices involving the invocation of spiritual beings. Some religions meld Spiritualism with Christianity. For example, a blend of Christian and African folk beliefs that originated in Brazil is now practiced in the U.S. Spiritualism is much the same as Spiritism only it has adopted Christian rites and prayers. People visiting Spiritualistic services can be misled into thinking they're Christian churches. The problem is, Christianity cannot be melded with any other religion or practice. One of the major tenets of Spiritism is reincarnation. The classic form of reincarnation originated in India in the 9th century BC. In our modern world reincarnation has become a hot topic. There are a variety of beliefs on reincarnation the most popular being that upon death the spirit leaves the body and seeks another body to enter. Belief in reincarnation gives hope for continuing one's existence in further...

As I indicated in an earlier article, healthcare in America is in a downward spiral. Even more disturbing is the fact that the government can strong arm its way into our lives and determine what treatments we should undergo. Such is the case of 16 yr. old Abraham Cherrix, who, after suffering through chemotherapy to treat his Hodgkin's disease (a form of cancer), decided to go herbal for his healing. He sought the help of a doctor in Mexico who helped him with his new herbal diet. His cancer returned, and doctors recommended that he use radiation and more drugs to treat the cancer. Abraham decided against it. His parents did not force him to undergo more radiation treatments either. What happened? The Department of Social Services got involved. A social worker brought the case to court and asked that Abraham continue treatment doctors prescribed. The Judge's temporary order was a shocker. He finds Abraham's parents neglectful in their support for their son, and orders them to share custody with the Department of Social Services! Abraham would be living at home, but Social Services would have a hand in how his treatment went! "I did not know the government could do this," said...

We all have depended on the advice of our doctors, on nurses, and healthcare providers to keep us in balance, and in health. These days, gross negligence is common in today's hospitals and in the healthcare industry. People's lives are in the hands of healthcare providers, so it's serious that they give people the correct information and correct medical care they need. But that is not always the case. On a recent Montel Williams show, (Tuesday, July 18th), Montel highlighted "Hospital Horrors." His guests included people who have suffered from neglectful hospital care: --A lady described waking up in the middle of an operation, paralyzed and unable to move. She then started to feel intense pain; she was able to also hear conversations of the doctors and nurses, and tried to get their attention that she was awake, but was unable to do so. Somehow, it was brought to the attention of the surgical team that she was indeed awake, and they put her back under. After surgery, the lady is hysterical, she and her family demanded answers. The surgeon said, "She was awake, we put her back under. Now let's just get on with her recovery." No response from the anesthesiologist. It was mentioned...

You can run, you can hide, but you can't get away from it, “God knows I've tried.” It seems that wherever you go, whether it's to the mall, a movie, the golf course, or the hardware store, you hear God's name being misused. It's become so common that most people hardly notice it anymore. But some of us do. It's rare to watch a TV program without hearing God this, God that¦."Oh my God!" Some people punctuate each word, “Oh “ my “ God.” Others say it as if it's one word, “OhmyGod!” And there are those that shorten it to “Oh God.” If he or she's a person of few words, just saying “God!” gets their point across. For a little extra punch, certain people will add a damn. For example, “I hate this G-D rain!”I don't mind when someone says, “God bless you,” or “God be with you,” or my mom's personal favorite, “God love ya.” I take offense when someone uses God's name as a curse. It's disheartening to hear the Lord's holy name abused, especially by Christians who claim to love Him. The way we use God's name is an indication of how we feel about Him. And by the way, those who misuse...
