DID GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN REFER TO OBAMA AS SAMBO?

Dear Friends,

Since Sarah Palin was added to McCain's ticket, the mean and evil Liberal Left haters have stepped up their assault like never before.  The nastiness is at fever pitch.  One of the latest rumor is that she was overheard saying "Sambo Beat the Bitch", referring to Obama and Hillary.

We can't allow these things to go unanswered and we must be ready to fight for what is right.  As Republicans (particularly Black Republicans) we must stand up and be counted and aggressively speak out whenever we can.

I know I will address it on Friday during my radio show where my co-hosts are Democrats.  If you care to listen and call in, its 1470AM.  You can go online www.sfltimes.com or www.wwnnradio.com and listen live.  The show is called "Elevating the Dialogue".

At any rate, we must be ready to address their attempts to paint Sarah Palin as racist, as they have tried to do to every other white Republican.  For black Republicans, they want to paint us as traitors, Uncle Tom's, etc.

I have the answer as how to deal with them.  They have said that a waitress overheard Sarah Palin used the phrase, "Sambo Beat the Bitch".  Well my response is, "I don't care".

First of all, where was their concern when racist Democrats designed and distributed a cartoon showing Michael Steele as Sambo and another cartoon showing Condoleezza Rice as an "Ignorant Mammy"?

Francis Rice, president of the National Black Republican Association, wrote about this and shows the cartoons on the NBRA website: http://www.nationalblackrepublicans.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=pages.DYK-Simple%20Sambo%20and%20Ignorant%20Mammy&tp_preview=true    The article is entitled "SIMPLE SAMBO" AND "IGNORANT MAMMY": THAT'S HOW DEMOCRATS VIEW BLACKS.

The cartoon on Michael Steele as Sambo showed up during his run for the Senate in 2006.  He would have been the first Black Congressman from Maryland and also the only black Republican in Congress since J.C. Watts left.  But Barack Hussein Obama campaigned in Maryland against Michael Steele, telling the black community not to vote for him because "even though he looks like us, he's not one of us."

No one black came to Michael Steele's defense, except black Republicans.  None of the Democrats - not the NAACP, not the ACLU, not the preachers, not the black newscasters, not Michael Baisden, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton - none of them said one word.  They were not offended.

Why?  Because Michael Steele and Condi are Republicans.  And the Black community ridicules them (and us) and calls us names.  So white Democrats don't hesitate to call us names either.  They know there will be no backlash.

So until black and white Democrats get upset when someone calls black Republicans names, then I don't care when they get demeaned.  Pure and simple, end of conversation.

That's my response.  I can't be bothered if they can't be bothered.  Either all of us deserve respect or none of us deserve respect.  Period.
