Mariam Bell is director of public policy for The Wilberforce Forum. She is former director of federal affairs for Justice Fellowship. In the mid-1990s, she served as vice president and chief operating officer for Enough is Enough. Previously she served as director of governmental affairs for Childhelp USA, a national child abuse prevention organization.

Mariam has also served in the federal government, where she was deputy assistant secretary of public affairs at the Department of Health and Human Services and associate director for public liaison in the Reagan Administration, promoting President Reagan’s domestic policy agenda. She served as primary liaison to law enforcement, civic, veterans, education, Protestant, and women’s organizations.

Previously Mariam was legislative assistant for Senator Charles Grassley on the Health, Education, Labor Committee. Mariam studied theology and art at Covenant College. She serves on the boards of WORLD Magazine and the National Law Center for Children and Family, and is a governor appointee to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Maternal and Child Health Commission.
