Resa LaRu Kirkland is an avid military historian, with her main focus being on the Korean War and its forgotten warriors. She was born in Arizona in 1966, and has lived in northern Idaho, El Paso Texas, and Pocatello Idaho, and currently resides in the Evergreen state. She is married with two sons whom she is teaching the evils of political correctness. She was given the nickname AMERICA'S WAR CHICK by her beloved Korean War Vets, and uses it proudly to this day! Her other favorites from her "men" are The Pitbull, Hellraiser, Tiger, D-Day. Her favorite names given to her by those who oppose her views are Capitalist Pig, Brass-Bottomed Bitch, and H-Bomb. Her husband and boys just call her Turbo.

Resa has been guest on the Armstrong Williams Radio Show, the Mike Reagan Radio Show, Chuck Baker Show, The Schiffer Report, WomanTalk with Sharon Hughes, Sunrize AZ, Chimpsey's DC at MySpace.com, and an occassional guest on the POW/MIA Freedom Network (which can be heard every Sunday from 5pm to 8pm Eastern time via internet at Americanewsnet.com). Fox News has done two stories on the first man in her "Forgotten Warrior" series, Ricardo Carrasco. Scripps Howard writer Mike Hedges featured Ricardo's story in a write-up for the 50th anniversary of the start of the Korean War, and the Fox News show "Heroes" with John Kasich also did a short piece on Ricardo on Memorial Day of 2001. John later featured as one of his four personal favorites on a "Heroes" special in 2003. She has interviewed hundreds of vets over her past decade of research, and is currently trying to arrange funding for a reunion trip to Korea for the surviving cast of "Cease Fire!"

Resa is now the permanent guest host for THE SCHIFFER REPORT, and is working to get her own WARCHICK talk radio show.

Resa loves power-lifting, snowmobiling, swimming, boating, four-wheeling, and most activities of any nature. She has a degree in education and is anxious to get her grad work in History finished as soon as possible.

Sunday October 8 started with a request from a friend of mine, DC of Chimpsy Radio, to record an interview regarding what was then only the threat of a nuclear test from North Korea. I revealed for the first time a fact I've shared with only a few close associates in the past.Back in 1997, I was in contact with a Major who was stationed along the DMZ. Three years earlier, NK had thrown their usual temper tantrum in order to blackmail and bludgeon America into giving them money, supplies, and a nuclear reactor. Fortunately for them, the Capitulator-in-Chief happily complied, in direct jaw-dropping defiance of the certain conclusions such an act would cause. So I asked him:Does North Korea have nukes?He paused. I took this interlude to mean he was considering the question. I was sorry to learn it was actually stunned silence. “Resa, don't you know? Everyone here knows they have nukes; the American soldiers, the ROK, China, Japan. You mean you don't know? Of course they have nukes! How do you not know that? Everyone knows!”My turn for stunned silence. He was the first one to make clear to me the growing connection that was developing between Islam and this communist...

Either You Are, Or You Aren't a Renaissance Woman!

A renaissance woman is someone who sets her own agenda for personal achievement and will not allow herself to be manipulated or intimidated by self-proclaimed spokesmen who try and wrap their political philosophies around terms like "equality," "choice," "peace," "tolerance" and "diversity." She understands that she has been created for such a time as this and embraces her destiny as a challenge and not a curse, no matter what her personal circumstances. She is a winner not a whiner, a leader not a follower, a victor, not a victim. She wants to change the paradigm of the feminist movement that has served to marginalize and ridicule women who do not follow their collective agenda.

Millions of women around the country, from all professions, backgrounds and cultures, are courageously picking up the mantel of leadership and virtue, that the feminist movement has squandered. They are providing thoughtful and accurate analysis, on a variety of issues, of where, and who we are as a nation.

Remember, this is not a club. It is a mindset!
